Two men are in police custody in connection with a robbery that occurred at Saving Plus Supermarket, Rock Dundo, St Michael this afternoon.

“One is a 21-year-old and one is a 26-year-old. Those identities will be revealed when and if they are charged,” Police Public Relations Officer Rodney Inniss disclosed.

According to preliminary investigations, two men entered the establishment with a fireman and a cutlass and robbed individuals there of an undisclosed sum of money.

Inniss said police searched the surrounding area and apprehended two men of interest.

“We recovered a firearm and a cutlass and those persons are in custody,” he said.
