‘Iconic Hairstyle’: Evelyn Lozada’s Old Reunion Looks Leave Fans Gushing

Evelyn Lozada is known for styling-and-profiling as well as rocking “iconic” hairdos that make some people want to imitate her look. The “Basketball Wives” cast member recently proved that her hair game has always been on fleek when, on Wednesday, June 17, she posted a thread of old photos on Instagram that showed her at the “BBW” season 2 reunion.

Donning a black turtleneck crop top and a green maxi skirt with a slit, the Bronx beauty looked toward the ground and opened her mouth slightly to strike her pose. Evelyn sported a top knot bun with bangs that flattered her face perfectly. In true New York fashion, Evelyn wore large silver hoop earrings. She tied her appearance together with a dark pink smoky eye and a light pink lipstick to match.

Evelyn gave a shoutout to the stylist responsible for her hairstyle, expressing the idea that her reunion bun was “epic.” Many social media users proclaimed that they were head over heels in love with the reality star’s tresses. One user gushed: “THAT LOOK WAS AND STILL IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! ❤️,” followed by another that wrote: “That is an iconic hairstyle.”

Just like most women with naturally curly hair, Evelyn straightened her hair often when she wanted to switch up her looks. A few years ago her hair suffered heat damage. In 2013, the now 44-year-old Evelyn announced in an Instagram post that she was determined to rejuvenate her natural curl pattern and grow her mane down her back after she destroyed her locks.

The mother of two started her natural hair journey in 2017 by cutting her hair to her collarbone. She then stopped putting heat on her curls so frequently and opted for a heat-protectant spray when she wanted to straighten her hair. As of late, Evelyn’s hair extends past her waist. She hinted in an Instagram post that rice water helped her hair grow.
