In a video posted on The Black History School, we learn more about Eisenhower, a five-star general in the army, oversaw the desegregation of Armed Forces. He believed racial discrimination was an issue of national security because communist countries were racially discriminating.

Eisenhower will be remembered for his role during public school desegregation. The Arkansas governor at the time physically blocked nine Black students from entering a college campus building. Eisenhower responded by send the National Guard to remove the governor from the building.

It was said that Eisenhower's mother was part black. I seen a photo of his parents and his mother does look like she has some black ancestry in her.
