THE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY/OAS SCHOLARSHIP –

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITION

The Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations informs of the call for applications from desirous persons of pursuing an online Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition at The University of Technology (UTECH), Jamaica.

Scholarship Overview

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, an applicant must: 

• Provide an unconditional admission letter from UTECH, Jamaica;
• Submit a complete scholarship application form with all required supporting documents; and
• Be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia;
•  

The following applicants are ineligible:

• Current OAS scholarship recipients;
• OAS General Secretary, (GS/OAS) staff and their immediate relatives or GS/OAS consultants; and
• OAS Permanent officials and their immediate relatives.

Expenses not covered by the scholarship

Successful applicant will be responsible for the remaining programme fees of USD $6,800, payment of research expenses and any other costs not covered by the scholarship.

Selection of Awardees

UTECH, Jamaica and the OAS will select the scholarship awardees based on the criteria listed above.  The names of the scholarship recipients will be published in July 2021 on the OAS Scholarship website www.oas.org/scholarhsips. The OAS will contact selected candidates by email with the scholarship offer and instructions for the scholarship acceptance.  Please note that unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
