Angola: Cash Transfer Programme Benefits Over 8,000 Children

Luanda — The Ministry of Social Action, Family and Women's Promotion (MASFAMU) is since Tuesday conducting the 3rd and 4th cycles of payments of the Program of Monetary Social Transfers in central Bie province dubbed "Valor Criança", which will benefit 8,499 children under five years old.

According to a note from this ministry that reached Angop, the project will cover 4,468 families, from 77 villages in the municipalities of Catabola and Chinguar, in order to mitigate the economic impact caused by the Covid-19.
