The Nu Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will present the Houston Coalition of Omega Psi Phi Voting Parade occurring on Oct. 24, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. on 2615 Calumet St. at Ennis St., Houston, TX 77004.

Fraternity members will drive from this location to the Harris County Polling site located at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church on 3810 Ruth St. at Scott St.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity members, family, and friends are encouraged to come out and support this event. For those who are registered voters in Harris County and still need to vote, we encourage those to use their civic voices by voting.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage people to follow the CDC guidelines of wearing a mask, practicing social distances, washing/sanitizing hands, and staying home if feeling ill.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is the first international fraternal organization founded on the campus of a historically black college, Howard University in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 17, 1911. The Fraternity has ten mandated social programs. One of those mandated programs is Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization. The Nu Phi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was the first chapter founded in Houston in 1926.
