It’s here Bronzeville week! From August 7th untill the 14th, there will be a combination of virtual and in-person events. The week pays homage, by highlighting the African American culture through arts, history and entertainment.
The Bronzeville Cultural and Entertainment district , is a initiative by the city of Milwaukee to revitalize the area known as the original Bronzeville.
Already in its tenth year, the event and its attendees continues to grow, thanks to sponsors like the Milwaukee County Office of African American Affairs, American Family Insurance just to name a few. Returning is the popular HaRUNBEE walk, Brunch in Bronzeville, and a day party you don’t want to miss! The events may focus is to stimulate economic growth in the area, and this year is sure to highlight the beauty for more redevelopment.
