Police have appealed for help as they continue investigating a shooting incident at Jacmel, where a twenty-eight-year-old male sustained a gunshot injury to the face on Saturday.

According to reports, the man was on his way home from a party when three shots rang out from a passing vehicle at about 2:00 a.m.

One bullet hit him in the face.

A relative told St. Lucia Times that a passerby later saw the victim lying on the ground and summoned an ambulance, which took the injured man to the hospital.

The relative said the victim’s pouch and mobile telephone were missing.

The 28-year-old was reported in stable condition in the hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Police have urged anyone with information to call the Crime Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.

  1. Why every time a police vehicle patrolling at Jacmel or Boisden the glass window is always up? Does it mean they want to see no evil or hear no evil?
Blackstone at Jacmel needs a search a thorough one. This should not be done by Anse La Ray police but other stations. Anse La Raye have no police.

  2. THE WINDOWS ARE UP BECAUSE THEY ARE SPYING. NOT INTERACTING, NOT HELPING, NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THE CITIZENS PROBLEMS. BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS PLEADING FOR HELP FROM CITIZENS OR INFORMATION OF PEOPLE WHERE ABOUTS. THEY HIDE BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT THE SAME PEOPLE THEY TOLD THEY WILL BE PASSING THROUGH THE COMMUNITY TO SEE THEM. BAD APPLES SPOIL THE WHOLE BUNCH.

  3. WHY DONT THE POPO PARK THEIR VEHICLES, COME OUT AND TALK TO THE PPL, THEY WILL GET BETTER RESULTS. THEY ARE JUST MEN OR WOMEN IN UNIFORM AND A STATUS THEY ARE NOT INVINCIBLE, BE ON THE PEOPLES LEVEL AND STOP TRYING TO INTEMIDATE THEM.
